Σύνδρομο Καρπιαίου Σωλήνα

Μέσα από τον καρπιαίο σωλήνα διέρχονται, συνωθούμενα, το μέσο νεύρο και εννέα τένοντες. Επί αυξήσεως της τάσεως μέσα στον καρπιαίο σωλήνα είανι δυνατό να πιεσθεί το μέσο νεύρο με αποτέλεσμα την εμφάνιση συμπτωμάτων, τα οποία συνίστανται σε διαταραχές της αισθητικότητας στην παλαμιαία επιφάνεια των τρεισήμισι κερκιδικών δακτύλων και στην αδυναμία των μυών του θέναρος των νευρουμένων από το νεύρο.

Η αύξηση της ενδοδιαμερισματικής τάσεως εδώ μπορεί να προέλθει από κατάγματα της κάτω επιφύσεως της κερκίδας πωρωθέντα πλημμελώς ή από οίδημα των τενοντίων ελύτρων και του εγκάρσιου συνδέσμου του καρπού.

Η αντιμετώπιση συνίσταται στη χειρουργική διάνοιξη του εγκάρσιου συνδέσμου του καρπού

Μηχανισμός Δράσης:
